When REV biodiesel was shopping locations for its new, high volume production facility, it was a easy decision to partner with the progressive business development office of the Town of Gilbert, AZ. The Gilbert site was selected due to the town's strong commitment to environmental stewardship and a proactive approach to attracting green industries. This included zoning and permit regulations that are sensitive to the complex requirements for clean, efficient biodiesel production and blending.

Additionally, the Town of Gilbert begins the year 2011 with a strong vision for a bright future, and a Strategic Plan to sustain its current livability that has gained it the title as one of the Best Places to Live in the entire nation. Communities like Gilbert are already ahead of the curve in the drive to make alternative fuels available to municipal and consumer users by partnering with companies like REV. By rapidly turning red tape into a green light in 2010, REV was able to build its facility in record time.
